ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

“Canvas of Memories – JunYang Pow” is an inspiring art exhibition showcasing the heartfelt works of JunYang Pow, a 31-year-old artist and aspiring designer battling Urachal cancer. This rare and aggressive condition has profoundly shaped JunYang’s journey, making this exhibition a poignant celebration of his resilience, creativity and unwavering passion for art.

This exhibition marks the realisation of JunYang’s dream of having his works featured in an art gallery. He shares, “It’s not easy having your life suddenly uprooted and turned upside down. So really, this is my last leg forward in my professional as well as my personal life.”

Reflective and introspective as an individual and an artist, JunYang has set high aesthetic standards for himself and created designs that are both original and visually compelling. While it has not been easy for him to have his life uprooted and turned upside down, this Canvas of Memories is a significant milestone that he’s attained, personally and professionally.

Join us in honouring JunYang’s strength and celebrating the vibrant, locally inspired artworks that reflect his thoughtful and introspective approach to life and art.

Net proceeds from the sales of the exhibit will be donated to Art Outreach Singapore.
