A rare and radiant milestone was joyfully celebrated in August: Mdm Yeo Choo’s 100th birthday.

For a century, Mdm Yeo Choo has been the unwavering heartbeat of her family. Widowed over forty years ago, she raised seven daughters and one son with immense strength and steadfast love. Since her seventies, she has bested cancer multiple times, and even now, her courage and spirit remain completely undimmed.

Four Generations United in Gratitude

By her side daily is her devoted son, now in his seventies, who, rain or shine, takes the train to care for her with a rare filial devotion.

On 10 August 2025, four generations, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, stood united in gratitude, honouring a life marked by steadfastness and enduring familial ties.

The celebration was made extra special with delicious contributions by Crystal Jade Restaurant (for providing delectable longevity buns), Hjh Maimunah Catering Pte Ltd, Divine Artisan and Ji Xiang Ang Ku Kueh.

Ambulance Wish Singapore (AWS) volunteers, Jill, Angeline, Brenda and Wee Nie were honoured to help facilitate this precious celebration, making it a profoundly memorable wish experience.
