A warm and cheerful soul, Mdm Linda greeted everyone with a radiant smile as she fondly reminisced and shared fond stories of the places she had visited with her loved ones.

For Mdm Linda, a woman whose warm smile and cheerful spirit touch everyone she meets, her wish was to celebrate a special day with her family at a place she loves—Gardens by the Bay.

A Joyful Beginning Amidst Nature’s Beauty

The day began with Mdm Linda sharing fond stories of her life’s adventures. Our dedicated volunteers, Bryan, Xian Lin, Fred, and Elaine, welcomed her with a beautiful bouquet of red and yellow flowers and a cheerful companion, Amby the AWS bear, setting a joyful tone for the celebration.

The family then immersed themselves in the vibrant beauty of Gardens by the Bay. As they strolled through the breathtaking Flower Dome, a photographer was on hand to capture the genuine warmth and connection they share. These portraits are more than photographs; they are timeless keepsakes of a day dedicated to togetherness.

Heartfelt Messages and Cherished Celebrations

The celebration continued with a delightful tea break at the Fairmont Hotel. In a deeply moving moment, the family watched a montage of the day’s photos and videos. They then took turns writing heartfelt messages in a guestbook, expressing their love and wishes for Mdm Linda.

The warmth in the room grew as family members shared their thoughts aloud. When Mdm Linda spoke, she offered her own heartfelt words to each person, expressing her love and gratitude. It was a poignant and powerful moment that highlighted the incredible bond they share.

Adding to the joy, the family surprised Mdm Linda’s sister, Selina, with a birthday celebration. They enjoyed Selina’s favourite Eurasian sugee cake, laughing and reminiscing about cherished childhood memories, beautifully weaving past happiness into the present moment.

A Memory to Cherish

As the day drew to a close, Mdm Linda was presented with the completed guestbook, a treasure filled with loving words. Our lead wish granter, Bryan, accompanied her home via ambulance, ensuring her return was as comfortable and peaceful as the day had been.
