For Mr Osman, 70, his wish was to spend treasured time with his family on a staycation at D’Resort @ Downtown East.

His desire was not for grand adventure, but for connection – to soak up precious, unforgettable moments with the people who mattered to him most.

A Feast of Nostalgia and Love

Dedicated Ambulance Wish Singapore (AWS) volunteers, Gina, Nurhuda, Janhvi, Jing Le, and Sophia poured their efforts into planning every detail alongside Mr Osman’s son. They worked to fill the staycation with comfort and nostalgia, weaving in surprises of his absolute favourite food. These special treats included beloved halal classics from Arnold’s Fried Chicken and Hjh Maimunah, capped off with a surprise brownie cake. These comforting flavours were a perfect addition to the family gathering.

When Wish Day arrived, the entire family gathered at the staycation location. The scent of sizzling food and the sound of laughter immediately filled the air as they shared a delicious BBQ, savouring the warmth of one another’s company late into the evening.

To seal the night, the family gathered for a fun, spontaneous photoshoot, capturing their genuine joy and lasting togetherness. The volunteers were pleased to see the family fully enjoying themselves, sharing food and laughter, confirming that this memorable wish experience achieved its sacred goal of deep connection and joy.
