This beautiful sentiment came to life for Mr Lim Wee Loon and his family during their meaningful visit to Gardens by the Bay on 10 December 2024. Accompanied by his mother, girlfriend, and uncle, Mr Lim’s wish was to create lasting memories surrounded by the splendour of nature with those he cherished most. This quiet gathering is the essence of wish granting.
Mr Lim’s desire to spend quality time with his loved ones in such a beautiful setting resulted in a truly memorable wish experience, supported by Ambulance Wish Singapore (AWS).
Personalised Touches for a Meaningful Day
The experience began with a heartfelt gesture beneath the iconic Supertrees. Each family member received a specially selected sweater in their favourite colour, adorned with unique crocheted brooches handmade by our dedicated Lead Wish Granter, Jo-Ann.
In a particularly touching moment, Mr Lim presented his mother with two thoughtful gifts—a supportive walking stick and a beautiful bouquet of hydrangeas, symbolising his deep gratitude and affection. As her only child, this gesture held profound meaning for both mother and son.
Cherished Moments Among the Blooms
Despite physical challenges, Mr Lim’s playful spirit shone throughout the visit. He delighted everyone with mischievous poses and warm interactions, bringing smiles to all present. His mother lovingly noted that this joyful demeanour reflected his true character, making the moments together even more precious.
