Mdm Tay loves flowers, and her heartfelt wish was to revisit Gardens by the Bay with her family, a place she hadn’t seen for a couple of years. This simple desire for beauty and togetherness is the essence of wish granting.

The event started with bright sunshine on a warm Sunday afternoon. Our Ambulance Wish Singapore (AWS) volunteers picked up Mdm Tay and some of her family members from home, and 30 minutes later, she arrived at the Gardens in high spirits, ready for a truly memorable wish experience.

A Day Blossoming with Joy

The volunteers presented Mdm Tay with a beautiful bouquet of white lilies, a playful durian soft toy, and a birthday card populated with well wishes and love from her children and grandchildren. Mdm Tay was elated with joy, smiling broadly as her eyes sparkled.

Mdm Tay’s love for flowers was especially accentuated as the featured flower for the season was the Lily, Mdm Tay’s favourite. As Mdm Tay and her family strolled around the bends of blooms, her admiration for the flowers was clear and palpable.

Cherished Memories for the Festive Season

The event took place just two days before the Mooncake Festival. As the family paused for a candid shot at the festive Mooncake decoration, they embarked for home. The hope is that the beautiful memories of the visit to Gardens by the Bay will bring a smile to Mdm Tay every time she recalls this special day.
