On 23 December 2024, Ambulance Wish Singapore had the privilege of bringing together a family for a deeply meaningful coastal gathering at the Tee Side Chalet for Mdm Salmah.

With the support of dedicated volunteers Elaine, Swee Qin, Mary Ann, Eric, and Joel, the chalet was transformed into a warm and intimate space for a heartfelt reunion.

A Warm Welcome and Emotional Reunion

The day began with a beautiful reunion as Mdm Salmah arrived via our transport partner, Medical Assistance 4U. She was joyfully surprised to see her family, including her niece who had flown in specially from Australia for the occasion. Overcome with emotion by the love and effort surrounding her, it was a powerful and silent testament to the strength of family bonds.

A Nod to Treasured Memories by the Sea

To honour Mdm Salmah’s fondness for fishing and past moments spent by the beach with her late husband, we created a peaceful seaside retreat. A comfortable camping setup with chairs allowed her to relax and enjoy the gentle sea breeze, surrounded by specially printed photos of cherished memories. This thoughtful arrangement provided a serene backdrop for reflection and connection.

A heartfelt thank you to EzBBQ and Old Chang Kee for the delicious spread that kept everyone well-fed and in high spirits. We are also grateful to Son Ace Singapore for providing trusty tentages, ensuring the BBQ festivities continued smoothly regardless of the weather.

The highlight of the afternoon was a tender family portrait session by Rueven Tan Photography. These professional photos beautifully captured the love and togetherness of the day, providing Mdm Salmah and her family with lasting visual memories of their special time together.

This gathering was a powerful celebration of family, community, and the creation of new, joyful memories. Ambulance Wish Singapore is deeply grateful to have been part of this beautiful day.
