About
ANTI:DOTE celebrates Singapore’s 60th birthday with Flavours of Singapore: Through the Art of Yip Yew Chong, an artful afternoon tea inspired by artist Yip Yew Chong.
The afternoon tea, thoughtfully crafted by Fairmont Singapore’s culinary team and inspired by Yew Chong, features local favourites with a modern twist, such as the lobster laksa jelly with caviar, putu piring with peanut praline, and the quintessential kopi and teh, a perfect pairing of coffee praline with earl grey ganache in a biscuit.
On 10 August 2025, guests were delighted with not only the lovely afternoon tea but were able to witness Yew Chong live in action, as he painted his popular grumpy cat, enjoying a bowl of durian cendol. The painting was then donated to Ambulance Wish Singapore and will be put up for auction to raise funds in support of our cause.
We thank Fairmont Singapore and Yew Chong for the partnership and generosity!
Flavours of Singapore: Through the Art of Yip Yew Chong is ongoing until 30 September 2025. For more information on the afternoon tea, please click here.
