Dr Kwek Kon Yew

Kon Yew is a physician who works in the biotechnology industry to develop new medicines to treat cancer.  Prior to this, he was in clinical practice for 8 years.  Seeing how his family members fought battles against cancer has stirred in him a strong desire to serve the needs of terminally ill patients. Through Ambulance Wish Singapore, he hopes to enhance the end of life experiences of terminally ill patients by adding life to their days; and partner with the community to care for the dying. Kon Yew holds postgraduate diplomas in Family Medicine and Palliative Medicine.
